Angle Health President Andy Leeka
Based in La Canada, California, Andy Leeka has served as the president of Angle Health in San Francisco since 2020. In this position, he manages many responsibilities involved with health plans specifically designed for technology companies. During his time in this role, Andy Leeka has applied his comprehensive knowledge of the commercial health insurance industry.
Before joining Angle Health, Andy Leeka spent nearly 24 years as the president and chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. He oversaw a $318 million budget and 1,450 employees. His achievements at the hospital included the creation of Centers of Excellence in orthopedics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and many other medical focuses. Under this tenure, Good Samaritan Hospital was recognized as one of the 100 Best Hospitals in America. He has also served as the chief executive director of the Medical Relief Center, a 240-bed facility that helped mitigate the COVID-19 patient overflow in Los Angeles.
Andy Leeka holds graduate degrees in health care administration from UCLA, and business administration and organizational behavior from California State University, Northridge, and the Phillips Graduate Institute, respectively. He has also completed undergraduate programs in psychology and biology.
